How do you decide what my Morgan dollar is worth?

What is a mint mark and where do I find it?
It is a small letter on the reverse, just under the wreath below the eagle. None means Philadelphia. CC is Carson City, O is New Orleans, S is San Francisco, and D is Denver (1921 only). CC coins are the ones most worth checking for.
Are common Morgan dollars worth anything?
Yes. Even a worn, common-date Morgan is 90% silver and carries real value from its metal content alone, usually in the low tens of dollars. Better dates, mint marks, and higher grades climb well above that.
Do I have to sell after I get an offer?
